About Fell

Fell is an abbreviation of Kvígindisfell which is the name of the small mountain above the residence. Here, people have lived and sailed out to fish ever since the country was first settled. Kvígindisfell is situated on the outer part of the north side of Tálknafjörður in the county of West-Barðaströnd.

Art Residency

Fell has facilities for those who practice writing, music and graphic design, as there is a very good internet connection in the house with optical fiber

Nature and environment

Tálknafjörður is a peaceful and tranquil place with beautiful nature. The fjord itself is relatively small compared to others in the west of the Westfjords of Iceland.
